The Canton Restaurant is open seven days a week year round.
For your mid-day lunch break feel free to stop by for our bargain priced
lunch buffet, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Or, if you
prefer, try one of our lunch or dinner specials from our full menu. If
you're in need of catering or just don't feel like leaving the comforts
of your home, just call. We offer delivery around most of Annapolis with
a minimum purchase order of $20.
The Canton Restaurant opened its doors in 1962 under the ownership and
management of Charles Foon Wong, who served as a staff sergeant for the
United States Army during World War II.
Originally, the restaurant was known as the New Canton, and it offered
Annapolis residents and visitors a full-service dining experience, serving
Chinese American cuisine at an affordable price. This family-owned restaurant
was truly the first of its kind in Annapolis.
When Ben and Lisa Wong assumed ownership over the family business in
1994 they continued this tradition and welcomed each and every customer
with open arms, just as a member of the family.
